Fine Stopped is provided by LINBETTA ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Fine Stopped app collects, why, and your rights under UK GDPR.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and password (stored securely by our database provider, Supabase).
- Vehicle details: registration, nickname, colour and whether it meets clean air zone standards, as you enter them.
- Toll crossings and parking sessions: the toll name, time, fee, deadline and payment status. For parking you may choose to save the approximate location of the car park.
- Support messages: what you write in Contact support, so we can reply by email.
- Crash reports: if the app hits an error, the error message, the screen and the app version, linked to your account, so we can fix it.
- Subscription status: your plan and renewal date, provided by Apple, Google and RevenueCat. We never see your card details.
How we use your location
When you turn on Co-Pilot, the app reads your phone's location, including when the app is closed, to detect when you cross a toll, drive into a clean air zone or park. This check happens on your phone. We do not store your location history or send it to our servers. We only save the resulting crossing (for example "Dartford Crossing, 09:14") and, if you start a parking session, the car park location. You can turn Co-Pilot off at any time in Settings.
Why we use it
To provide the service you asked for: detecting charges and reminding you to pay them (contract). To send reminder emails if you choose a paid plan (contract). We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising or tracking.
Who we share it with
- Supabase (database and login hosting, servers in the EU).
- RevenueCat, Apple and Google (subscription management).
- Resend (sending reminder emails to Premium and Pro Plus users).
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account in the app (Settings, Delete account) we permanently delete your account, vehicles, crossings and parking history straight away.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict its use. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
Fine Stopped is for drivers aged 17 and over.
