1. The service
Culture Foods Counted ("CFC") is provided by LINBETTA Ltd. It helps you log what you eat and drink, estimates calories and nutrients, and shows your day in green, amber or red. By using CFC you agree to these terms.
2. Not medical advice
CFC is a general wellbeing tool. It does not give medical, dietary or clinical advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, dietitian or other health professional. Speak to a professional before changing your diet or exercise, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have diabetes, heart, kidney or other medical conditions, take medication, or have, or have had, an eating disorder. If you are worried about your eating, please talk to your GP.
3. Estimates
Food values, portion weights, colours, allowances, exercise calories and time to target are estimates. Foods marked AI estimate come from an AI model and may be wrong. Please use them as a guide and check anything important.
4. Who can use CFC
You must be 18 or over. Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
5. Free and Premium
CFC is free to use with the week view, the current month and a daily allowance of AI searches. Premium adds month and year views, your full history, Analytics, Craving Buster and unlimited AI food search (subject to fair use).
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription: £4.99 a month or £56.99 a year in the UK, or the equivalent price shown in your country. Payment is taken by Apple from your Apple account when you confirm. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your App Store settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Cancelling stops the next payment; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for.
6. Fair use
Do not misuse CFC: no attempts to break or overload the service, to access other people's data, or to use the AI search for anything other than food and exercise. We may limit or suspend accounts that misuse the service.
7. Your content
Your diary belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run CFC for you. You can delete your account and data at any time in Profile, then Delete my account.
8. Our content
The CFC app, design, food library and text belong to LINBETTA Ltd. You may use them for your own personal use only.
9. Liability
We work hard to keep CFC accurate and available, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be error-free. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on estimates in the app. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
10. Apple
If you downloaded CFC from the App Store, Apple's standard licence terms also apply. These terms are between you and LINBETTA Ltd, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for CFC or its content.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell you in the app if the changes are significant.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
