Most calorie apps do not know the food you grew up with. Culture Foods Counted does: search in your own language, measure by the scoop, bowl or plate, and see your day at a glance in green, amber or red.

(C) Culture Foods Counted questions
What is Culture Foods Counted?
A food and calorie tracker built for the foods most apps miss, especially African and Caribbean dishes, as well as every other cuisine. It shows your day in green, amber or red so you know where you stand at a glance.
Does it know African and Caribbean foods?
Yes. Search sadza, nshima, egusi, jollof, fufu, ackee and saltfish and more, in your own language or spelling. If a food is missing, the built-in AI identifies it and suggests the measures people really use, such as scoops, bowls and plates. AI results are marked as estimates.
What do the colours mean?
Green is a good choice or plenty of room left in your day. Amber is fine in moderation or getting close to your allowance. Red is less healthy or over your allowance.
Is Culture Foods Counted free?
Yes. The food diary, drinks, exercise, the week view and daily AI food search are free. Premium is £4.99 a month or £56.99 a year in the UK, with local prices in 175 countries, and adds month and year views, full history, Analytics, Craving Buster and unlimited AI food search.
Is it medical advice?
No. Culture Foods Counted gives estimates to help you make everyday choices. Talk to your GP or a dietitian before changing your diet, especially if you have a medical condition. It is for people aged 18 and over.
