Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your Send Emoji account and what happens to your data. Send Emoji is made by LINBETTA Ltd.

Delete your account in the app

• Open Send Emoji and sign in.
• Tap Settings.
• Tap Delete account, then confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Delete your account without the app

If you no longer have the app, email linda@linbetta.com from the email address you used for Send Emoji. Put "Send Emoji: delete my account" in the subject line. We will delete your account within 7 days and email you when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account, name, email address and mobile number
• Your check-ins, moods and notes
• Your connections with the people you look out for, or who look out for you, and any invites
• Your notifications and your phone's notification token

Deleted data is removed from our live systems straight away. Copies in backups are overwritten within 90 days.

What is kept

We do not keep any of your Send Emoji data after deletion. Your payment records stay with Google Play or Apple, who took the payment.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid plan. Cancel it first in your phone's subscription settings: on Android, open the Google Play app, then your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. On iPhone, open Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.
